GP Permanent Contractor – Christchurch

St Albans Medical Centre is seeking a GP to join our independent, well-established, and highly regarded practice as a permanent contractor.

You’ll provide ongoing cover across our team of five GPs, working up to 0.8 FTE with flexible week-to-week sessions. The role includes school holiday periods, and we’re happy to negotiate a minimum number of weekly sessions to suit your availability.

You’ll be well supported by our experienced and friendly GPs, nursing and administration team, alongside an excellent multidisciplinary team onsite, including a Health Improvement Practitioner, Health Coach, Physiotherapist, Mole Specialist, and Pharmacist.

The position is available from late 2026.

Registered Practice Nurse – Casual

  • Wound care
  • Triage

Essential Requirements

  • Current NZ Practising Certificate with appropriate indemnity insurance
  • Current CPR Certificate
  • Vaccinator Certificate
  • NZ Residency or a valid NZ Work Visa
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care
